Introducing the new refillable eau de toilette for men by Issey Miyake — Le Sel d’Issey. Salt particles are suspended within clear water. As water evaporates, salt crystallizes, leaving its sensorial scent on the skin. The senses sharpen, and energy moves forward. The power of salt brings flavour to life.
A fresh woody-marine masculine fragrance
Made with 95% natural origin ingredients, and 100% natural origin French alcohol, this woody-marine vegan perfume encapsulates the essence of salt. Expressing perpetual motion, from the sea to the land, it is composed of two olfactive polarities. The salty polarity reveals a vibrant salt accord combining natural origin marine seaweed and natural origin oak moss. The earthy polarity is infused with intense woody notes of natural sand vetiver and upcycled cedarwood — a natural ingredient sourced from furniture making. Effervescent natural ginger enhances the vitality of the salt accord.

A perfume bottle inspired by salt
Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, Le Sel d’Issey features a pure aesthetic, embodying the energy of salt. Revealing the light gray fragrance within, the transparent bottle is made with 20% recycled glass.
With the same salt-inspired shade of natural gray, the outer pack’s matte texture is reminiscent of salt crystals. The box is made — for the first time — from 10% upcycled natural seaweed, along with material from well-managed, FSC™-certified forests and other controlled sources.
Available in 50ml and 100ml sizes, Le Sel d’Issey is refillable with a 150ml refill format. Made in France.
How to refill your bottle ?
You can refill the Le Sel d’Issey eau de toilette bottle using the 150 ml refill.
-Step 1: Unscrew the pump dispenser from your Le Sel d’Issey eau de toilette bottle.
-Step 2: Screw the refill onto the bottle. Refilling will automatically stop once the bottle is full.
-Step 3: Screw the pump dispenser back on and close your Le Sel d’Issey eau de toilette bottle.
